WineMainz | Germany | April 25–27, 2026
Four associations, two days, and one location for top German wine – Mainz. In April, Mainz becomes a must-visit destination for wine professionals from around the world
Together, we are joining forces to advance the future of top-quality German wine. Four events, supported by renowned associations, led by the VDP.Prädikatsweingüter, are further establishing Mainz as a trade fair hub for German wine, with a weekend that sets new benchmarks.
The events VINVIN by Maxime Herkunft Rheinhessen and Weinland Nahe e.V., the Biodynamic Wine Fair, and the sparkling wine fair of Traditionelle Sektmacher frame the VDP.Weinbörse and highlight the individual strengths of each association. The spectrum ranges from wines of origin and biodynamics to traditionally bottle-fermented sparkling wines - topics that are also firmly anchored within the VDP.
On Saturday, 25 April 2026, VINVIN and the Biodynamic Wine Fair will take place at Altes Postlager, while the Traditionelle Sektmacher invite visitors to the Kurfürstliches Schloss. On Sunday and Monday (April 26/27), the VDP.Prädikatsweingüter welcome guests to the 52nd VDP.Weinbörse at the Rheingoldhalle.
A journey to the heart of Germany's wine-growing regions offers the opportunity to experience what makes Germany's winegrowers from north to south so distinctive: expertise, individuality, and diversity. Winery visits are a natural complement to the program, and the individual associations are happy to assist with planning.
The events in detail:
VDP.Weinbörse | Provenance – Passion - Purpose
For over 50 years, the VDP.Weinbörse has been the world’s leading trade fair for top-quality German wines. At the Rheingoldhalle in Mainz, nearly all 199 VDP.wineries present their wines together – offering a market overview of unparalleled depth and quality. Supported by a community that has stood for reliability and uncompromising excellence since 1910, the VDP unites origin and craftsmanship in a clear promise: Vineyard classification, expertise, and passion translate terroir into precision and style, creating orientation and identity. Family businesses that have been cultivating their vineyards for generations make a living commitment to a wine culture that is constantly evolving without losing its roots.
For international trade professionals, the VDP.Weinbörse provides a concentrated tasting and comparison platform including the first precise look at the new vintage, the debut of the VDP.ERSTES GEWÄCHS® classification tier, and a representative selection of fruity Prädikat wines as well as VDP.SEKT.
